Let’s Find Your Child’s Perfect Music Teacher
Hand-picked, highly qualified, and the right fit for their personality, goals, and learning style — without you lifting a finger.
Trusted by London families since 2022, with children aged 3–18 thriving in music.
Why the Right Fit Matters
Every parent knows the moment their child “clicks” with someone special—a coach, a teacher, a mentor. That spark transforms lessons into passion, confidence, and progress. Without it, enthusiasm fades, habits slip, and potential is lost. We built our service around helping you create that spark—starting with a teacher who fits your child, not just their instrument.
Is This What You’re Looking For?
We work best with families who want more than just music lessons. Parents who see music as part of a child’s education, value a teacher who inspires as well as instructs, and appreciate having an expert partner in their child’s musical journey.
A highly qualified, experienced teacher — all our teachers are conservatoire graduates with 7+ years’ teaching experience on average.
A personalised match based on your child’s needs, personality, and goals.
Lessons arranged around your family’s schedule — at home, in a studio, or online.
The reassurance that your teacher has been carefully vetted — including an initial screening, a 1-to-1 interview, reference checks, and enhanced DBS clearance.
A teacher who is based in London (Zones 1–3).
Transparent fees that reflect the quality and wrap-around support you’ll receive:
30 mins: £60–£70
45 mins: £75–£85
60 mins: £80–£90
If that sounds like what you’ve been searching for, we’d love to help.
The Problem with Choosing the WRONG Teacher
A bad fit can mean stalled progress, loss of enthusiasm, or years spent unlearning bad habits. Our role is to make sure that never happens.
Directories leave you guessing — choosing from hundreds of profiles without knowing who’s truly trustworthy.
School lessons can lack consistency — frequent teacher changes, your child being pulled out of regular lessons, and little insight into progress.
Progress is easily lost when the fit isn’t right.
The Prelude Process
Every child’s musical journey is unique — our process ensures they’re guided by the right teacher, supported at every step, and inspired to love learning.
Step 1 – Listen & Learn
We get to know your child’s personality, musical experience, and learning style.
Step 2 – Hand-Pick the Perfect Teacher
We match your child with the teacher best suited to their needs, goals, and schedule.
Step 3 – Manage All the Admin
We take care of scheduling, invoicing, and all the behind-the-scenes organisation.
Step 4 – Track Progress
We provide regular reports so you can see your child’s progress and celebrate their achievements.
Our role doesn’t end once the lessons begin — we’ll stay closely involved, offering guidance and advice to support your child’s progress at every stage of their musical journey.

Still Have Questions?
Here are the answers parents ask most before starting with us.
-
We take time to understand your child’s personality, learning style, and goals. Then we hand-pick a teacher from our carefully vetted team — and if the first match isn’t perfect, we’ll keep working until it is.
-
-
All our teachers are conservatoire graduates with years of experience. Every teacher is interviewed, reference-checked, and DBS-cleared, so you can be confident your child is in safe hands.
-
Fees depend on lesson length, but most range from £60–£90. Our prices reflect the experience of our teachers and the wrap-around support you’ll receive.
-
Not one-off trials, but we do offer a two-week trial period. You’ll have complete flexibility to switch or stop lessons if it doesn’t feel right. Lessons are still chargeable in this period.
-
Most families choose lessons at home, but we also offer online and studio options. Whatever works best for your child and schedule.
-
Not necessarily. We can guide you on the best options for renting or buying instruments, and in some cases, teachers can provide access to a studio instrument.
